Building a promising future through Education

This project addresses the educational and infrastructural goals Rwanda's government has set itself, integrating them within a single orphanage proposed for a site outside Kigali, the country's capital. Rebuilding Rwanda consists of a secondary-level technical school and a prefab housing factory.

PROJECT STAGES

STAGE 1: 
  The first stage of the project's development consists of only the most neccessary structures to effectively house orphans, educate students, and produce small-scale prefab housing components.



 STAGE 2: 
  The second stage of 'Rebuilding Rwanda's site development includes all areas shaded green on the site plan below.  The addition of Stage 2 would include additional housing for orphans, expanded educational facilities to accomodate more students, and a soccer field.  The original small-scale prefab housing factory would also be expanded, enabling the production of large-scale prefab housing components such as prefabricated steel frames and SIP's (structurally insulated panels).
